Kid's Art Gallery Frequently Asked Questions

We welcome children from around the world to add their artwork to our Kid's Art Gallery. Use the Frequently Asked Questions below as guidelines of how to get us the artwork, what we are looking for, etc. If you don't find your answer there, please email Zion's Webmaster.

Who can submit artwork to the Gallery?

Any child up to 18 years old can submit their artwork to our Kid's Art Gallery. You do NOT have to go to Zion Church in order to submit your artwork to us. You don't even have to live in our area, state or country to submit your artwork. We welcome artwork from kids around the globe.

What kinds of artwork can I submit?

We are looking for original artwork that has something to do with either church or family/moral values. That means you can draw and color a picture of Jesus, a picture of your church, your family, a picture of someone helping a neighbor, kids sharing toys, someone singning in a choir, an ambulence driver, a doctor, be creative! No coloring book pages, please. We want original artwork! Please use white paper to do your artwork. You can use crayons, pencil, ink, paint or markers to create your artwork. The artwork can be no larger than 8.5" by 11".

How can I get my artwork to Zion for the Gallery?

You can choose one of 3 ways to get your artwork to us so that we can post it in our Gallery.

  1. You can send your original artwork to Zion Church at the following address:

  2. If you go to Zion or are in the area, you can drop off your artwork at the church.
  3. If you have access to a scanner, you can scan the artwork in yourself and email us the artwork in jpg or gif file formats only. Email the art files with the information listed below to testokely@yahoo.com.

What information do you need from me?

Besides your artwork (or artwork computer files), we need the following information about the artist:

  1. First and last name
  2. Age
  3. City
  4. State/Province (if appropriate)
  5. Zip Code/Postal Code/Post Code (if appropriate)
  6. Country
  7. Email address (if you have one)

Will I get my artwork back afterwards?

We wil ONLY get your original artwork back to you if you enclose a Self Addressed Stamped Envelop with enough postage to cover return postage.

Does it cost anything?

No, it doesn't cost anything to submit artwork to our Gallery. It's free.

Will I be notified when my artwork is posted?

If you have an email address, we can notify you by email when we post your artwork.

Will my name be used with my artwork on the Internet?

We will ONLY use your first name plus the first initial of your last name, your age and your city/State/Province/Country location on the Internet. We do not use children's last names for Internet security of the children.

How many pieces of artwork can I submit?

For now, we are limiting it to two (2) pieces of artwork per child. However, if you already have artwork on our Gallery and want to send us new artwork to replace it, you can do that. Please note which pieces are yours on our current Gallery that you want to swap them with to make it easier for us.

How often do you update the artwork?

We will be updating artwork a couple of times a month.

In what order will the artwork appear?

Artwork will appear with the newest first. As more new artwork is added, it will "push" the older artwork back in line.
