Pentecost Vigil, Saturday May 10

Because of the good response to our Easter Saturday Vigil, we're doing it again, this time, to celebrate Pentecost. Pentecost, the celebration of the giving of the Holy Spirit, falls on Sunday, May 11 this year. Our Pentecost Vigil will be sunrise to sunset on Saturday, May 10. Again, the sanctuary will be set up to be conducive to meditation, and there will be opportunities for both Vigil Keepers and Vigil Hosts (formerly Attendants). A sign-up sheet has been posted in Founders' Hall. Contact Music & Worship (Joyce Orr and Alice Kueckels) for more information.

Please note: this will be a busy weekend at Zion. Saturday, May 10 will also our monthly Community Meal and Movie; Sunday, May 11 is also Mothers' Day.

Leo Coffeehouse at Zion

Next Leo Coffeehouse: Friday, January 18th, 5-10pm, Founders Hall

The Queen City Balladeers sponsored Leo Coffeehouse, showcasing some of the best folk and acoustic music in the Tri-State area, as well as nationally-known performers from all over the country have moved to Zion. The Coffeehouse is held each Sunday of the month, September through May, from 7-9pm in Founder's Hall. For a schedule, see their website at www.qcballadeers.org.
